Running the Race to VBS!

A look at the exciting material for Radford Baptist Church's Vacation Bible School 2019! By Pastor Redd McIntyre

"After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” Revelation 7: 9-10

Make sure your VBS Passport is ready, The Worldwide Incredible Race is set to begin Sunday evening June 2, 2019. The VBS travel itineraries are set. Racers gather in South America to learn the beginning of the human race and why nobody can run a perfect race. From

there, teams will travel to the continent of Asia, to a city named Babel. There the teams will discover God’s loving roadblock. After hearing God’s truth, team members will leave for a new destination, Africa. On this leg of the trip, racers will see how the human race

develops into people groups with unique languages, cultures, and physical features.

Teams will hear truth from God’s written voice, scriptures will be clearly taught every day. During day three of the journey, the Gospel will be shared with each team. Day four and five, the incredible racers will have passports stamp in the continents of Europe and North America. These days teams will discover the need to yield lives to God and He loves ALL PEOPLE groups.

Each day is filled with prayer, scripture, and worship. During each stop, they will experience lesson times using God’s word as a beginning. Each session there are fun filled activities, worldly snacks, and crafts which coincide with each leg of the INCREDIBLE RACE.

If you want to experience the fun of VBS and want to share the Good News of Jesus, you’re your VBS passport ready for June 2, 2019. Details will follow shortly with instructions to signup ONLINE as a volunteer and to register children.

So, get your schedules lined up for a week of travel, teamwork, and God’s transforming power of the Gospel. “...for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes.”
